In my world, being surrounded by local (a term I use loosely living in Southwest Wyoming) and organic vegetables tends to make everything better.

In addition to what you see below, my bounty this week included a variety of crookneck yellow squash (they were so cute!), zucchini, broccoli, beets, and peppers.  The tomatoes and peaches from Grand Junction are just beginning so I'll expect to start refilling the freezer in the next couple weeks when they look a little better, but the melons looked great and I gathered up two.  My bounty was from Grand Junction, Laramie, and Utah - to me this is local!
